Refund Policy
Effective and last updated: September 27, 2026
We want you to be confident paying for CloseTrack. This policy explains how cancellation and refunds work for subscriptions and communications credits. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
In short: every new workspace starts with a free 14-day trial, and you can ask for a full refund of any payment within 14 days of being charged.
1. 14-day refund on every payment
If you are not satisfied, you can request a full refund of any subscription payment (your first payment, a monthly or annual renewal, or an upgrade charge) within 14 days of the date you were charged. No reason is needed.
When we refund a subscription payment, we also cancel that subscription so you are not charged again, unless you ask us to keep it running. The plan ends, and the workspace stays available to export or to restart on a plan later: your data is not deleted.
2. After 14 days
Payments older than 14 days are not refunded, except where required by law or where we could not provide the Service as described (for example, a prolonged outage on our side), in which case contact us and we will make it right. You can always cancel to stop future charges; see below.
3. Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel at any time from Billing in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling on its own does not refund the current period. If you were charged in the last 14 days, you can ask for a refund as described above.
4. Free trial
The 14-day free trial requires no payment details, so nothing is charged during it and there is nothing to refund. You are only charged if you choose a paid plan.
5. Plan changes
When you upgrade, you pay only the prorated difference for the rest of your current period. When you downgrade, the unused value of your previous plan is credited toward your future payments rather than refunded.
6. Communications credits and auto-recharge
You can request a refund of any communications credits purchase, including a purchase made by auto-recharge, within 14 days of purchase. We refund the credits from that purchase that have not been used; credits already spent on texts and calls cannot be refunded.
When a credits purchase is refunded, the refunded credits are removed from your balance. Auto-recharge is turned off at the same time so it does not immediately buy them again; you can turn it back on from Billing.
7. How to request a refund
Email billing@closetrack.co from the address on your account (or the address on your receipt) and tell us which payment you would like refunded. You can also request a refund directly from Paddle by finding your order at paddle.net using the email address you paid with.
We reply to refund requests within 2 business days.
8. How refunds are paid
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Approved refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method, including any sales tax or VAT that was charged. They usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
9. Your legal rights
This policy does not affect any rights you have under the law of the country where you live, including any statutory right to cancel a purchase. Purchases are also covered by Paddle's Buyer Terms, including the consumer rights described there.
10. Chargebacks
If something is wrong with a charge, please contact us first; we can usually resolve it faster than a bank dispute. If a payment is disputed with your bank, the workspace's subscription or credits paid for by that payment may be suspended or removed while the dispute is open.
11. Contact
Questions about this policy or a charge: billing@closetrack.co. CloseTrack will respond within 2 business days.
